I survived the first workout.
I really thought I would faint and die during my workout, not necessarily in that order. I participated in a class called Shape which trains all your body. You access muscles you didn't even know you had. Everything is done quickly and you are expected to do your absolute best. Well, I did make a freaking effort and you all know what happened. Dark spots started dancing all around, blocking my sight and it suddenly felt like I got swimmer's ear. Okay, I didn't actually die. Or faint, for that matter, but I guess that some of you wonder why a person would put herself through that willingly? The thing is that I get such a freaking kick out of it that once I start with the workouts it's kind of like a drug for me. Besides, I bet there are some people who would have a different opinion, who would say that you can't call it a real and truly productive workout unless you fall to the ground and puke your guts out :)
