Across the continent of Europe
Not okay to neglect the blog this way...
So, I started talking about my loved ones at home the other day. When I didn't talk or think about my life in Sweden, it was okay. I was completely absorbed by my life here in France, which is like living on another plantet compared to my life in Sweden. Just hanging out with my newfound friends, going to the beach, partying, meeting new people, enjoying the nice weather. All in all - just loving Nice. But as soon as I opened my mouth and the words started pooring out, I realized how much I miss everybody at home!
I can't wait until I can see my beloved friends and family again. I want to tell them all about my adventures here in Nice and see their reactions and facial expressions first hand! In real life. Especially Viktoria has a particularly vivid way of expressing emotions and it will be so fun to see the surprise and horror and relief playing on her face! I long to hear the comments which will be said by Samina, always to the point and, OH so correct. I anticipate that Tanzila will be very encouraging and that I'm not really risking getting yelled at by her. I hope. Malin will probably just laugh and ask me a lot of hard-to-answer questions to REALLY make me tell her everything. My sister, Nadja, will probably think to herself: "Somebody must have tricked us our whole lives saying that SHE is the older sister...". My mother will just never let me go to another country for eight weeks ever again. And my grandmother... well, I will probably just tell her the cliff notes version :)
