"You are not woman. Man make you woman"
And here comes the party-entry! I just felt that the tourist stuff and the party stuff should be separated XD
On Wednesday the girls and I gathered to watch the soccer game in one of the bars. We were totally ditched by Nicola, might I add, who had been the one to suggest the activity in the first place. No harm done, though :) Our little group consisted of me, Matilda and Tamsin, as usual, but with a few newcomers - Canadian Julia from our class and an Austrian girl named Nadia. Since most places were already full, we had a little trouble finding a place where we could sit down, buy a drink and watch the game. In the end we found an empty table in one of the restaurants along Promenade d'Anglais and ordered different stuff to eat or drink. I actually skipped the alcohol and went straight for delicious crêpes with nutella. Oh Gosh, that was a sensation!
As usual, I was just cheering for whichever team that would win, so I was happy for Spain. Go Spain! Every time the players were about to score, people started shouting and rose from their chairs and when the game was over and Spain had won, everybody screamed so much and clapped there hands! It was great!
So I ate my crêpes, people drank their coctails and wine and we continued on to a club where all the girls got as many Sex on the Beach drinks as wanted for free from eleven to one o'clock. It was crasy! I think I had six of them, if not seven. They were delicious! We danced as crazy and snapped loads of fantastic pictures! I will publish a few of them as soon as I get them from Julia and Tamsin.
We also met three French guys whom we talked to and danced with until two o'clock, when we headed for another club called Pompei. Tamsin and Nadia didn't go with us so it was just me, Matilda and Julia. They are so fun to party with, my girls! Oh my! :D
Pompei was crazy! As soon as we went in there we started sweating so much that we could artificially irrigate a whole desert! It was so hot in there and so many people. But a great atmosphere and really good music playing! There is this guy and his band always playing in the clubs here. They play songs of Queen, Coldplay, Greenday and a lot of other bands. And they are really good! The singer-guy with his strange Brittish humour is always making jokes. It is fun to hear him talking in his really strong Brittish accent. Besides, he is really aggressive and kind of angry in a totally great ánd funny way. So the girls and I call him the Angry Brittish Guy. Great it was! I only got home at five o'clock in the morning...
And did we stay in yesterday? Not so much. I met a Swedish guy named Adam in the park where the girls and I were sitting and having a good time. We talked about random stuff and then I showed him and his friends from New Zealand the bar called Wayne's. We got there at the exactly right time! It was really awesome. And the Angry Brittish Guy was performing again. I couldn't strain myself from asking if I could take a picture of him, haha.

Here we have him ;D Not looking so angry, though XD
Later on, everybody was dancing on the tables like crazy and I was standing pretty close to the stage. The Angry Brittish guy caught sight of me and said: "Isn't that the girl who wanted to take my picture? I will give you a song" and he sang Be my girl. Haha!

But the best is yet to come, because tonight the girls and I are going to Cannes!
XOXO
